Eligibility rules
The $4,999 Vertex AI promotional credit program is open to European Economic Area organizations that meet the criteria below. Applications are reviewed individually; meeting the criteria does not create a right to receive the credit.
Who can apply
• A registered legal entity in the EU or EEA (companies, cooperatives, non-profits, public bodies with commercial activity).
• The organization operates an active Google Cloud organization account with a verified billing method.
• The organization has produced non-trivial Vertex AI, Gemini API, or Tokens API spend during the last 12 months (reference threshold: ≥ $200 cumulative across supported services).
• The applicant is authorised to receive promotional credits on behalf of the organization (billing admin or named finance delegate).
• The organization is not subject to EU, UN, UK, or US sanctions, and does not appear on OFAC lists.
Who cannot apply
• Personal / consumer Google accounts (Gmail-based projects).
• Organizations that have previously received the same or equivalent Vertex AI promotional credit from Google or an authorised partner.
• Trial accounts without a verified billing method.
• Entities whose billing contact is outside the EU / EEA billing region.
• Accounts flagged for Terms of Service violations or billing arrears.
• Resellers who intend to redistribute the credit.
Review process
After submission we verify the Google Cloud organization ID, cross-check against prior Vertex AI / Gemini API activity, confirm billing region, and run a sanctions screening. Typical turnaround is 2 business days (up to 5 for complex billing hierarchies). We may request supporting information before approval.
Credit mechanics
Approved organizations receive a one-time promotional code worth $4,999 by email, delivered to the authorised billing contact. The code is redeemed inside Google Cloud → Billing → Promotional credits. Once applied, the credit offsets Vertex AI, Gemini API, Tokens API and selected Google Cloud SKUs for 12 months from activation.
Deadline
Applications must be received by November 3, 2026. Credits issued after this date are not guaranteed and depend on remaining program allocation.
